In these pieces, fragments of my own writing in progress (anything from love letters to grant applications) are presented ‘buried’ in the gibberish of machine code and obscure characters that arise following a computer crash. The pieces have been made (or, perhaps, found) by trawling the computer’s Trash for ‘Rescued Items’ following a crash and retrieving fragments of the ‘Work Files’ left behind by my word-processing software.
